1. Update your profile when you service your vehicle
As you perform the maintenance and service on your car, simply return to Car Care
City to update your profile. This will ensure that you receive reminders for future
service/maintenance items.
2. Update your mileage
Car Care City automatically updates your vehicle's estimated mileage on a weekly
basis. This update is based on the estimate you provide in your vehicle profile. Visit the
site once a week or so to verify the vehicle's mile that we estimate (in the upper
left-hand window) is on target. You can update the miles by going to the "Edit Auto
Profile" page and entering the correct mileage in the box and press the update
button. This will ensure that you receive reminders for future service/maintenance items
on a timely basis -- particularly for mileage based items.
3. Add as many cars as you like
We designed this site to be as useful as possible. You can add as many vehicles
as you want -- simply give them each a unique name, that you select, and we will send you
reminders for each vehicle. You do not need to set up new accounts to add more vehicles.
Simply click on "Add Car" in the control panel to add more vehicles to your
account!
4. Vehicle maintenance manual/log
Car Care City remembers all of your vehicle maintenance and stores it so that you
may review it from time to time. You can also print this out and use it as a maintenance
manual/log for your vehicle. This could add value to your vehicle when you resell it as it
will show your detailed care for your vehicle.
5. Turn Cookies on in your browser
We use cookies to securely identify you when you visit the site, so make sure you
have your browser configured to accept them. We do not use cookies to track your usage for
marketing purposes.
