After the car (just over 12K miles) has been sitting for only a few hours on cold or damp days, when stopping for the first two or three times, a noise coupled with a small vibration is experienced from the front brakes. The noise is hard to describe, but is a cross between a squeak and a grinding sound. After the first few stops, the noise and vibration goes away and comes back again after the car has been sitting for a few hours. I have a feeling that the front rotors are accumulating moisture somehow and after the brakes heat up, the moisture goes away. If anyone has experienced or heard of this problem, please let me know about it. Thank you.
