: two questions one. How do I cange the #1 oxygen sensor. and two this is a weird one. the gas pedal sticks only when the air conditioning is on but it doesnt when its off. i know one isnt related to the other but the effect is still the same.

the #1 O2 sensor is the onein or nearest to the exhaust manifold.you can buy a socket made for O2 sensors,but most of the time,i just use a 7/8" wrench.let engine cool before attempting.un plug the wire connector then unscrew the old sensor and reverse procedure to install. can you physically feel gas pedal sticking,or does the engine just idle faster with a.c. on?
